Know About The Best Batsmen In T20 World Cup Of All Time- Comprehensive List

It’s time to take a look at the best batsmen in the history of T20 cricket. This is a really difficult question to answer because it’s not just about stats, but about how well you play your role in a team. You can checkout latest update about t20 world cup news today as it is approaching.

The best batsmen in T20 cricket are:

  1. Kevin Pietersen – The Englishman was a joy to watch on his run to the World Cup title in 2011, where he scored an incredible number of runs and set up many others for his teammates. He was also known as “Pietersenator” because of how much damage he could do with his bat alone.
  1. Chris Gayle – The Jamaican was one of the most feared hitters in the world during his career, but he never won an international tournament with his bat – until now! He made history by becoming the first player ever to score more than 50 T20 internationals without ever getting a century or scoring over 700 runs in any format at any time during his career.

Chris Gayle was one of the main reasons the West Indies won the 2011 World Cup.

Although he is not as prolific a scorer now as he used to be, his ability to score runs off his own bat has never been in question. He has scored more than 7000 runs in T20 cricket and has scored over 3000 of them in one season. He is also very strong at the crease and has taken an incredible number of high catches in his career.

  1. AB De Villiers – The South African superstar has been in the headlines recently because of his retirement from international cricket, but he’s still got plenty to offer T20 franchise sides. De Villiers is a brilliant batsman who can play any shot in the book and cover up for any errors with his ability to improvise on the pitch. He also bowls leg spin and has been known to bowl some handy overs when needed.

He might have been overshadowed by other great South African batsmen like Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis during his career, but there’s no denying that AB was one of the greatest batsmen to ever play the game. He was particularly dominant in Twenty20 internationals, where he scored more than 1,000 runs and got over 50 sixes in just 23 innings. But it’s not just his batting that made him great – he also had a pretty good arm on him too!

  1. Virat Kohli – The Indian captain is the best batsman in the world right now, and he has been for some time. He’s incredibly fast with his reflexes and can play any shot under any situation.

The Indian captain might have been criticized for his aggressive style of play, but there’s no denying that he’s one of the best batsmen in the world at the moment. He’s scored more than 1,000 runs in both Tests and ODIs for India over the last 12 months alone, as well as getting a century in every format except Twenty20 internationals. But don’t let that fool you into thinking he can’t bowl too – he has taken three wickets at an average of 20 with an economy rate of just 7.

  1. Shane Watson – The former Aussie allrounder has been in impressive form over the last 12 months, scoring plenty of runs for Australia as well as taking on a leadership role with Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. He’s also scored three centuries and six fifties at an average of 56.

That’s not to say he’s been flawless, though. He has struggled against left-arm spin and his bowling is still way down on previous years. But if anyone can turn around their fortunes it’s the man who was once considered as good as any all-rounder in the world.

  1. Kumar Sangakkara – He was one of Sri Lanka’s most consistent performers during their run to victory at the 2003 World Cup and 2007 World Cup. He was extremely consistent throughout his career and scored over 3000 runs in each of those tournaments. He also doesn’t seem like a man who would let his team down when it came time for him to bat; during Sri Lanka’s run in 2003, he scored nearly 1000 runs with just one fifty!
  1. Ravindra Jadeja – Arguably one of the most consistent players in world cricket, he has been playing for India since 2003. He started his career with Rajasthan Royals and has played for many teams since then. He is known as ‘the king hit’ because of his power-hitting ability and batting style.

He has scored over 8000 runs in T20 cricket and averages over 40 with a strike rate of over 120. He is also known for his amazing catches and has taken several catches during games like the one against Australia in 2012 where he took a catch off Shane Watson off his own bowling to complete a hat-trick. After taking this catch it became an inspiration for other Indian players to do the same thing which eventually led to the Indian team winning their first ICC World Twenty20 title on home soil!

  1. Brendon McCullum – The New Zealander was the first batsman to score four hundred in an innings during the 2011 World Cup, and has gone on to score 7 more centuries over his career so far. He leads his country’s national side and is currently captain of them. He is also the first player to score a century on a test debut.

He has played in 84 test matches and scored 5,444 runs at an average of 45.32. He has played in 124 one-day internationals and scored 4,717 runs at an average of 39.98. McCullum is also the first batsman to score two consecutive centuries against India in ODIs!

  1. Michael Hussey – Michael Hussey was always known as a hard-hitting batsman. In 2006, he was named “most valuable player” during his time with Australia’s KFC Big Bash League team, and he continued that trend throughout his career. During his time with the national team, he has scored over 8,000 runs, which makes him one of only two men ever to score more than 8,000 runs in international cricket (the other is Sachin Tendulkar). He also holds another record: he was named captain of Australia’s national side for 36 consecutive matches.
